1967- 72 Ford Pickup RTX Instruments

1967–72 Ford F-Series trucks are surely picking up steam, and we’re right alongside the trend with this bolt-in upgrade. This package uses your stock plastic or metal gauge bezel and includes sensors for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and speed. If you’re running a Lightning or Coyote drivetrain, check out the BIM-01-2 OBD-II/CAN interface for simple connectivity.

Positioned above the speedometer, the LED bar graph tach and twin TFT message centers keep the driver up to date in full color. With built-in Bluetooth technology and a free mobile app, you can easily change the LED backlighting colors to match your mood.

The RTX series is the latest from Dakota Digital, designed to retain the stock look without sacrificing the late-model features you love. Every effort has been made to incorporate OEM design elements, including layout, face styling, and indicators. At a glance, they may appear as original equipment—but once powered on and illuminated in your chosen color scheme, the difference is clear.

Starting from scratch, CNC-machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house, helping Dakota Digital raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation. The high-definition TFT message centers can be fully configured to display just about any information needed. Included Sensors

Optional Accessories

Dakota Digital includes the required sensors for oil pressure, water temperature, and speedometer with all RTX, HDX, VHX, and VFD instrument systems, so in many cases no additional parts are required. However, you may wish to consider the following optional items:

GSS-3000 – Universal Gear Position Sensor

All instrument packages include a gear shift indicator display that shows transmission gear position (Park, Reverse, etc.) within the message center. The GSS-3000 supports automatic transmissions with 2–4 forward gears and offers a simple, straightforward installation.

DIM-1 – Light Dimming Knob

While Dakota Digital instrument systems allow programmable day and night brightness levels, the DIM-1 provides convenient rotary, on-the-fly brightness adjustment.

SEN-06-1 – Fuel Level Sensor

Dakota Digital instrument systems are designed to work with a stock or aftermarket fuel level sensor. If a universal or replacement sensor is needed, the SEN-06-1 is a great option.

BIM-01-2 – OBD-II / CAN Interface Module

The BIM-01-2 OBD-II (J1850/CAN) Interface connects directly to the ECM diagnostic port to pull engine and transmission data and deliver it to the VFD, VHX, HDX, or RTX instrument system, simplifying installation.

BIM-17-2 – Compass w/ Outside Temperature Module

The BIM-17-2 adds compass and outside air temperature readings to your VFD, VHX, HDX, or RTX instrument system. Information is displayed in the message centers, with sending units and mounting hardware included.
