This system is designed specifically for modified vehicles and provides the wiring needed to update the truck from the front lighting and engine area through the rear body. The kit uses modern GXL wire and an updated fuse panel, with labeled circuits to make identifying and servicing the wiring easier during a build.

Important Fitment Notes

This kit does not include factory-original engine-management wiring, emissions-system wiring, or dual-fuel-tank wiring. It also does not include the factory A/C harness; a separate 510712 Factory A/C Add-On is available for use with this Classic Update kit.

For 1983-1987 Suburban applications, the separate 510901 Suburban Taillamp Add-On Kit is required for the Suburban rear lighting connections.
